Susan is an attorney practicing with Byrd and Associates in Franklin, TN. She was admitted to the Bar in November of 2006 after receiving her J.D. from the Nashville School of Law in May of 2006. While attending law school, she started her own business and continues to be actively involved in the management of that venture. From 1983 to 2000 she worked as a Physician Assistant and practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology in Cambridge, Massachusetts and in Franklin, TN. She holds a degree in Registered Nursing and worked in Thoracic Surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering. She has two children. Gabriel completed his undergraduate work at Tufts University as a German major and now works in Dresden, Germany. Sophie, is working on her BFA at Appalachian Center for the Crafts at Tennessee Tech. Susan is a member of the Tennessee, Nashville and Williamson County Bar Associations. She has lived in Nashville since 1986.
