Background
Dr. Griffith has been in the private practice of Gynecology over 30 years. During his career, he has been involved in many situations that require dispute resolution, including marital counseling for patients, patient/insurance disputes, and patient/hospital disputes.
He has served in volunteer roles that require mediation skills, such as: Chair of Tennessee Wesleyan College's Board of Trustees, Chief of Staff of Athens Community Hospital, and as a member of the boards of the Athens City Schools, YMCA, and E.G. Fisher Library. He has also been a US Tennis Association Referee for local tournaments and the SEC, and a US Swimming Referee and course instructor.
With extensive experience in reviewing malpractice actions, and medical records for quality assurance issues, he looks forward to working with attorneys on civil mediation matters, especially in the healthcare field.
