Marlene is a principal in the law firm of Moses & Townsend, PLLC. Ms. Moses is a member of the Board of Law Examiners for the State of Tennessee and was past-president of the Board. She has been an active member of the Tennessee Bar Association and a past Chair of the Family Law Section. She served as First Vice-President of the Nashville Bar Association and Vice-President of the Family Law Section of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers. She is also a member of the American Bar Association, Tennessee Lawyers Association for Women, and Lawyers Association for Women in which she served as President. She is President-Elect of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and is a diplomate in the American College of Family Trial Lawyers. She is a fellow in the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and was past Vice President and currently serves as a Manager of the United States Chapter. Ms. Moses is a certified mediator and arbitrator by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. The National Board of Trial Advocacy of which Ms. Moses is a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors, has certified Ms. Moses as a family law trial specialist. Ms. Moses mediates family law cases with precision, compassion, and family law expertise.

Education/Training
Marlene received her J.D. in 1980 from Nashville School of Law; her Masters Degree in 1973 in Social Work from Tulane University and her BA in 1972 in Psychology from Tulane University. She was admitted to the bar of the State of Tennessee April 11, 1981; U.S. District Court (Middle district of TN) on December 9, 1981; U.S. Court of Appeals (6th Circuit) on April 30, 1982 and the Supreme Court of the United States on March 24, 2004. 40 Hours Mediation Training and numerous other seminars attended and taught. Certified by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers as a trained Tennessee Supreme Court approved mediator and arbitrator.
