Our goal at Forward Focus Mediation, PLLC is to help you prevent & resolve conflict in all of its forms: in families, community groups, businesses and other organizations. We offer professional mediation services related to disputes of all kinds, including those currently in litigation. Mediation can save time, money & energy. Examples of the types of services we provide include business disputes such as issues between shop owners and suppliers; divorce & domestic partnership dissolutions; conflicts in churches, synagogues and other faith communities; neighborhood & landlord/tenant disputes; workplace & employment disputes; and many others. In addition, we offer workshops to businesses, community associations, religious organizations and other groups to help interested individuals be peacemakers in their communities & prevent conflict before it begins.

Background
Prior to forming Forward Focus Mediation, Leigh Ann Roberts was a solo practicioner providing small business & nonprofit support in Middle Tennessee. Previous to that venture, Leigh Ann served for several years as an Assistant Attorney General at the Consumer Protection Division of the Tennessee Attorney General's Office. Mrs. Roberts also practiced in Clarksville, TN for the Richardson Law Firm where her practice consisted of mainly creditor's rights & insurance subrogation.
Mrs. Roberts draws from her years of legal practice in both the public, private and nonprofit sectors. As an Assistant Attorney General, she negotiated multi-million dollar settlements for the State of Tennessee and has mediated for many parties in Tennessee courts helping them reach resolutions which greatly enhance their lives and their communities.
Mrs. Roberts provides mediation services for many types of disputes, including cases involving medical/insurance claim disputes, construction cases, property disputes, neighbor & landlord/tenant disputes, contractual claims, employment disputes and conflicts within religious organizations and community groups.
Education/Training
Mrs. Roberts is a Certified Rule 31 Civil Mediator (training received in 1998) and a graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law. In addition to providing commercial, construction & employment mediation services, Leigh Ann is a certified Workplace Conflict Management Trainer for Mediation Training International. Leigh Ann is an active Board member and volunteer mediator for the Nashville Conflict Resolution Center and has volunteered hundreds of hours of mediation services to litigants in Davidson County General Sessions Courts. Leigh Ann is also a member of the Construction Law Section of the American Bar Association, CABLE, the Nashville Bar Association,the National Association of Conflict Resolution and the National Association of Women Business Owners.
Fee Information
As a member of Forward Focus Mediation, Leigh Ann provides civil mediation services at the rate of $200/hour. Leigh Ann provides mediation to individuals, businesses and community groups. Benjamin Papa also of Forward Focus Mediation provides Family and Domestic Mediation at $200/hr. Sliding fee scale services may also be available to qualifying individuals and organizations.
