Cyrus L. Booker focuses his mediation and litigation practice in the areas of tort, commercial and employment litigation. His litigation experience on both the plaintiff side as well as the defense side of numerous lawsuits gives Cyrus an ideal perspective for assisting parties in resolving disputes.

Background Cyrus has been engaged in the practice of law since 1981, working primarily in the areas of tort, commercial and employment litigation. During this time, he has had the experience of working in the large law firm setting as well as the experience of operating his own law firm. On the defense side, Cyrus has worked with most of the major insurance carriers. On the plaintiff side, Cyrus has secured numerous six figure jury verdicts and settlements. He is qualified as a Rule 31 mediator by the Tennessee Commission on Alternative Dispute Resolution, and was a Founder Member of the Tennessee Association of Professional Mediators.

Education/Training Cyrus obtained his undergraduate degree from Harvard University in 1978, and his law degree from Georgetown University in 1981. Rule 31 certification training was received from Henning Mediation & Arbitration Service, Inc.
